From conflict zones to independent newsrooms, Behind the Headlines explores the challenges, triumphs, and resilience of women reshaping journalism. In a media landscape still shaped by male-dominated narratives, we share stories that are diverse, inclusive, and powerful, covering everything from investigative reporting to launching independent platforms and fighting for press freedom.
Across two gripping seasons, we’ve heard from incredible voices: Barbara Serra, Luba Kassova, Patricia Clarke, Zahra Nader, Francesca Donner, Bettie Johnson-Mbayo, Dhruti Shah, Andrea Backhaus, Camilla Byk, and many more, each bringing unique perspectives on resilience, storytelling, and leadership in journalism.
