Women in Sport and the road to equality

The-Power-of-Resilience_Women-in-Sport-and-the-road-to-equalityDownload

“Somewhere behind the athlete you’ve become and the hours of practice and the coaches who have pushed you is a little girl who fell in love with the game and never looked back… play for her.”

Mia Hamm

There is nothing more powerful, inspirational and energetic than the stories of all those women that have chosen to fight for gender equality and more inclusive societies through sports. This is why we have decided to dedicate our first publication to all the women that have devoted their lives to sports, fighting for more inclusion and equality.

These are stories of ordinary women that have proven through their achievements and records, that sports have no gender, it is just a matter of strength and passion.

Stories of women from different countries, cultures and religions, united by the same values and struggles. There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish and Dezi, Vanessa, Anira, Bebe, Elisa, Gülsen, Angela, Simone, Vicki, Özlem and Jane will show you what does it means to never give up and never let anyone tell you that “you can’t do it“.
